STATUS: Main power and operations remain offline across the ZONE, but auxiliary functionality remains across the majority of the ZONES's REGIONS. UESC Security Forces have commandeered the COMPLEX's upper facility for use in active research into the ZONE's ANOMALY breach site.
Additionally, UESC Security Forces have established NETWORK TOWERS across the DIRE MARSH as they continue their efforts to secure intel on TAU CETI IV and the colony while suppressing RUNNER activity.
RUNNERS have reported that hacking these TOWERS provides insight into local UESC stockpiles. All RUNNERS are encouraged to investigate.
Unidentified phenomena and strange behaviors in various systems and local wildlife have been reported.
OVERVIEW: DIRE MARSH has become a major focus of the UESC's planet-side operations. The surface rupture near the main COMPLEX provides the most obvious point of observation and analysis for the alien ANOMALY that seems to originate from within TAU CETI IV.
Reports have identified a UESC fortification within the upper section of the COMPLEX. It is believed the UESC is tapping into old colony research systems to supplement their own tech as they investigate the ANOMALY. The site is guarded by a UESC WARDEN, so whatever operations they are running, they are taking focused measures to deter RUNNER interference.
