OVERVIEW: A major benefit of a ROOK's limited functionality is that its non-bio/non-synthetic systems allow it to hide in plain sight from the UESC's Autonomous Robotic Soldiers. The frame's hacked SIGNAL MASK ability tricks UESC ARS perception systems so they register the ROOK as one of their own for a brief period, or until you open fire.
OPERATION:
• Activate SIGNAL MASK
• WAIT a second for it to activate
• MOVE freely amongst metal death merchants
• DON'T dwell
• The MASK only lasts so long
HISTORY: ROOK's SIGNAL MASK is relatively new. Pure back-channel RUNNER tech hacked together somewhere in orbit above TAU CETI in response to the UESC's mobile war crimes. No one knows who coded it.
