[ORION]: We have to. We need to justify the budget. All those reinforcements don't come free.

[TKEL]: Oh, I can justify the budget. Let's tell them about the alien music box that fried Rossi. And you, Cap.

[TKEL]: What are the Cerberus hallucinations costing us? Or the constant shell reprints?

[TKEL]: I'll even throw in some good news: The Runners are getting chewed up every time they set foot on the Marathon. Almost as bad as we are.

[ORION]: Keleti…

[TKEL]: They sent us out here to do a job! We're doing it! Now we have to beg them to fund it?

[TKEL]: It's sure as hell not the job I signed up for. I'm not here to put on a show for Sulera or the civs.

[TKEL]: They told me when I joined: The UESC doesn't back down. We don't cave.

[TKEL]: And we sure as hell don't dance for our dinner, no matter who asks.

[ORION]: The job is doing whatever it takes for the mission to succeed. That is what we signed up for.

[ORION]: And now, the job is to tell a story that sounds good enough to keep our people supplied. I don't like it either.

[ORION]: But we chose this.

[TKEL]: [sighs]

[TKEL]: Yeah. Fine.

[TKEL]: Eh, how about, uh… The Marathon ship remains in orbit. Our people have been working… tirelessly… to secure it.

[TKEL]: Soon, with more time and more resources, we'll understand what happened here.

[TKEL]: And the rest of the world will too.
