We are keeping the research team tight and focused for the time being, but we are open to expansion once base parameters for safety are established.
Our purpose here is to, first, ascertain which properties of the anomalous energy radiating from beneath this region are mappable. The energy's currently registered characteristics are foreign to all known patterns of energy recognition. There are hallmarks of chemical, elastic, electrical, gravitational, motion, nuclear, radiant, sonic, and thermal signatures popping across all instances of our initial readings, but they are fragmented, volatile and buried amongst mountains of indecipherable static. Honestly, the presence of just about every known energy type comingling in the feedback might say more about our instruments' ability to map reliable data from the source than it does about the nature of the Anomaly itself, though, even that—our most advanced tech and physics models returning what is essentially incomprehensible data—speaks volumes about the scale of mystery we are facing.
