Site is locked down. Cleared Sci-Comm personnel only with security details on alert if needed to avoid any unauthorized drop-ins. So far, so good. Everyone understands the gravity of the situation, even if we do not fully understand the literal gravity of the situation.
As noted previously, the tear and physical presence of the Anomaly has seemed to reach a point of stability. What properties are allowing it to exist in a self-contained state without its energies pouring out remains unexplained. The energies should spread or dissipate but, like everything else about the Anomaly it continues to act in unexpected ways. Yassyl and Galliart on the theoretic studies side are putting together proposals as we run live field tests, but so far at no point have our guesses and the results we're mapping aligned. We still have no measurable path toward understanding what we're dealing with or how it tangibly affects our universe. We only know it's outside-known physics. How outside is anyone's guess.
We've started our testing with an attempt to map the stability—what's holding the bulk of the energy in place. Yassyl believes if we can get a grasp on the containment, we may be able to replicate it and use those findings to excise samples of the core energies with more focused, testable artifacts of the whole. Just one of a dozen approaches we are engineering. Not telling which one or ones will move the need….O´.$b:%A~ .. .
